Museum of Geihoku Folk Performing Arts and Folklore

In the Geihoku area (northwestern part of Hiroshima prefecture) in the Chugoku Mountains, various folk performing arts are staged every season.
　On the 1st floor, a chronological step-by-step presentation of agricultural work of each season is introduced. Tools and instruments for folk performing arts and daily life in farming villages are exhibited.
　The 2nd floor display from the collection of Mr. Hisato Shinfuji, a researcher of Geihoku folklore, presents perspectives of life in farming villages.

• Adults: 300 yen (200 yen for groups).
• High school students: 100 yen (50 yen for groups).
• Junior high school students and under: Free

Express bus: Ride from Hiroshima Station or Hiroshima Bus Center and get off at Chiyoda Interchange.
